Elfers , Florida – News Channel 8, reported a 47-year-old man on a bicycle was struck and killed by a 17-year-old-driver on Sunday, October 23, 2022. The accident occurred on U.S. 19 at or near State Road 54 in Elfers at approximately 11:37 p.m.
Florida Highway Patrol (FHP), stated the teen from Tarpon Springs was traveling north on U.S. Highway 19, when the teen collided with the bicyclist. The bicyclist was pronounced dead at the scene.
